*Breakside Brewery- Good beer! (NE Dekum and 9th)

*P's & Q's Market- great spot for lunch and a beer (13th and NE Dekum)

*Curious Comedy- Great place to see improv and standup, usually pretty good! (MLK and NE Sumner)

*Velocult Bike Shop, bar and museum - Good for bike nerds and beer fans(NE 41st North of Sandy)

*Rocky Butte- good views, good climb, fun descent (92nd and Fremont)

*Centaur Guitar- Lots of neat, weird guitars, amps, and effects.  (28th and NE Sandy)

The Zipper- new indoor food court, PDX-style.  Chickpeadx is our fav!  (27th and NE Sandy)

*Marine Drive Bike Path- nice views of Mt. Hood and the airport.  Goes to Troutdale. Take 33rd northwards.

*Pip's Original Donuts- (NE 48th and Fremont)

*The Waypost- Drinks, music, food (N Williams and Fargo)

*In Other Words- Feminist community center and bookstore (NE Killingsworth and Williams)

*Microcosm Publishing- Cool counterculture bookstore/zineshop and paraphernalia (NE Graham and Williams) 

*Laurelthirst Public House- Great nightly free music (NE 29th and Glisan)

*Hollywood Theater- Independent films and such (41st and NE Sandy)

*VooDoo Doughut  Okay donuts, but some are in the shape of a dick so...maybe worth a visit. Also an excellent area to score some heroin. (SW 3rd and Ankeny)

*Prasad- nourishing food adjoined to a very "Pearl" yoga studio (925 NW Davis St )

*Living Room Theater (near Powells)

*Ground Kontrol video/pinball arcade with booze (NW 5th and Couch)

*Food Carts at SW 9th and Washington + 5th and Oak

*Portland Art Museum- Not bad! (1219 SW Park)

*Sauvie Island- 25 mile (min. round trip) bike ride with berry picking, nude beach, nice scenery (cross St. Johns Bridge and continue North on highway 30.
