All bicycle rentals include a helmet, a lock, and a set of front and rear lights. Rack rentals include all necessary straps and hardware, as well as our help installing the rack safely to your car! Other accessories can be purchased as an add-on to your rental. Ask us about rates for bags, phone holders, horns, bells, whistles—anything you can think of!

For rentals lasting less than a week, we ask for at least 48 hours notice, in which case we’ll refund 95% of the rental cost. The 5% covers the transaction fees we’d incur. Without 48 hours notice, we keep the first day of the rental cost at the day rate of the bike, per bike.

For rentals lasting a week or more, we again ask for at least 48 hours notice, in which case we would need to keep the first day of the rental cost at the day rate of the bike, per bike. Without at least 48 hours notice, we keep half the total rental cost.

When you get to the shop, we’ll have you fill our our rental waiver. While you do, we’ll take a credit card and a photo ID for the deposit. We need to keep a card on file in case the worst happens and the bike does not come back, whatever the reason may be. We cover the bike for its retail value. Here’s the deposit breakdown:

$400 for the City Comforts
$500 for the City Quicks
$800 for the Touring bikes.
$1,000 for the Modern Road class.
$1,200 for the Elite Road class.
$1,500 for the Hardtails.
$1,500 for the eBikes.
$2,000 for the Full Suspensions.
$2,000 for the Gravels.

You bet! But we gotta charge you for the full day. We only book bikes for 24 hour blocks. No half days and no extra hours without the extra day cost. We try to price things in to keep the extra day rates reasonable, and we think late fees are just no fun. Our rule-of-thumb grace period is roughly an hour, but communication is key. Please call us if you’re running a little behind or if life happens. Otherwise, we need to charge for the extra day if a bike comes back egregiously late on your drop-off day. This is our system and we gotta stick to it. Thanks for your understanding and your discerning patronage!
